Blackfoot River near Missoula, Montana
The Blackfoot River is a whitewater gem when the other rivers in our area are too big to run. Scenes of this river made a brief appearance in the move “A River Runs Through It” – it is the river featured in the famous novela by Norman McClean. The season on the Blackfoot River is short, so get your paddle ready in May or June when the snows start melting. Read more about the Blackfoot River- http://montanariverrafting.com/blackfoot-river/
